License activation
How Voidlink licenses activate, bind to a machine, and move between machines.
Voidlink uses key-based licensing. There is no separate account or password. Your key is the identity, and the license server decides whether it is valid, when it expires, and which machine it is bound to.
Activating
- Run
Voidlink.exe. - Paste your license key into the field on first run.
- Confirm binding this license to the current machine. This first activation starts your subscription clock.
Your term starts on first activation, not at purchase. A key you buy now and activate next month still gets its full time.
Checking status
The Home tab shows your license status and how many days are left, with an amber warning under five days. You can also check status on the web from the account page by entering your key.
Moving to another machine
A license is bound to one machine at a time and allows up to three machine moves. To move it:
- On the old machine, sign out in Voidlink to release the key.
- On the new machine, enter the key and confirm the move when prompted.
If you are out of machine moves or cannot reach the old machine, contact support and we can unbind it for you.
License states
- Active: valid and within its term. Downloads and activation work.
- Expiring soon: under five days left. Renew to avoid a lapse.
- Expired: the term ended. Renew to restore access.
- Bound elsewhere: the key is active on another machine. Move it or free a slot.
- Inactive: the key was revoked. Contact support.
Signing out
Signing out removes the saved key from the current device and releases the binding so the license can move. Voidlink restarts afterward. Your local settings stay in place.
